Calvin Stewart is a Mcknight Doctoral Fellow and PhD Candidate at the University of Central Florida.
Research Interests
My primary research interest is the investigation of experimental, theoretical, and numerical solid mechanics. Within solid mechanics, I am interested in constitutive model development, continuum damage mechanics, creep and plasticity, fatigue analysis, fracture mechanics, life prediction, structural analysis, and design optimization. It is my experience that high quality research in solid mechanics has practical applications that can lead to long term industry partnership.
